The Hytech Line Riding Tensiometer operates by bending the
steel wire rope through three pulleys and reading the
bending force. It provides users options including rope
speed/ payout/ direction, it is designedto withstand the
harsh elements. The rope should be in contact with all
three sheaves at all times. The payout sensor reads two
targets mounted on the center sheave and computes
payout and speed.
